Explain the decision to pursue an undergrad in interior design as opposed to architecture.

For such an intriguing question that I often ask myself, I can’t just give a modest answer. During my freshman year at Howard University, I decided to switch my major from Architecture to Interior Design for a reason unordinary to others. I knew switching my major to Interior Design at Howard University would allow me to have a more comprehensive undergraduate experience, study aboard in London, start a design firm, and ultimately provide myself a solid foundation for the next step of earning a Master’s Degree in Architecture. My academic endeavors in Interior Design have also taught me how to communicate my ideas and have given me a deeper comprehension of the process of design.
