Provide planning, logistical, on-site and close-out conference management support services for the HHS Acquisition Planning Symposium.

Action

Design conference branding; develop a promotional Web site with electronic registration and conference presentations; design and procure promotion materials; secure a hotel room block; develop conference materials; design and print signage; manage on-site registration; develop and issue certificates of attendance; develop, distribute, and collect evaluation forms and compile results; provide on-site conference support; and compile an evaluation summary report.

Result

Acquisition performance has improved. The agency has leveraged buying power. New measurements have been put in place to unify multiple acquisition systems.
